Sustainable Landscapes

The Global Climate Change Initiative is the U.S. commitment to work with global partners to foster low-carbon growth, curb emissions from deforestation and promote sustainable, resilient societies.

USAID, the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Treasury are the lead agencies for the Global Climate Change Presidential Initiative.

Strengthening Bilateral Relationships

Our on-the-ground presence and strong ties with country governments supports collaboration with local partners around shared plans and priorities. It also allows for rapid responses and the ability to pilot innovations and new approaches.

Supporting International Negotiations

USAID works with the State Department to support U.S. participation in international climate negotiations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). See how we support U.N. climate talks.

Helping Partners Prepare for Change

USAID provides climate assistance to more than 50 developing countries, including least-developed African nations, glacier-dependent nations, small island developing states and other vulnerable countries.

Our climate programs help developing countries build the critical capacities they need to increase resilience to changes in climate, to protect lives and livelihoods and to promote low-carbon growth and development.

USAID helps countries access and use the latest climate and weather data, measure and manage greenhouse gas emissions, and create policy incentives to unlock investment in clean energy, to promote sustainable land use and to stimulate low-carbon growth.

USAID’s expertise across climate-sensitive sectors—from water and food security to energy and economic planning—creates opportunities for countries to address climate and development in integrated, innovative ways.

what is global climate control ? | Yahoo Answers

Global climate control is a method once worked out during the 70s in science labs in the US and UK. but when jimmy carter cut the major part of the space program it died with it because it required the orbiting anti missile lasers to make it work. The basic name for the process is global weather control.
The only way to fix it is to quit electing liberals, rinos and neo cons to public office!
